There is no doubt where the world’s biggest green projects take shape and where the best in architecture take the art and science of building several steps ahead. Dubai is pretty much the single most important place when it comes to green architecture across the planet and with each passing day, it only seems to grow in the stature by adding a new eco-friendly abode to its existing grandeur. Emaar has been at the top of the green savvy list and they continue to do so.
Emaar Properties on Monday unveiled a 12 billion-dirham ($3.27 billion) eco-friendly development to be built close to Mushrif Park in Dubai. The company said sustainable development will be the ethos behind Mushrif Heights, which will be spread over 400 hectares and include villas, town homes and apartments, as well as parks, walkways, and landscaped gardens.
Emaar, which is building the tallest tower in the world, said the development will also feature amenities such as a school, a mosque, retail outlets and other leisure and recreational facilities. The purpose of the project is to create a new eco-friendly community where the focus is on integrating everyday living with the natural environment.
